Book Review: Pink Glass Houses

It’s all drama at Sunset Academy, a Miami elementary school for the wealthy and wealthy wannabes. Here, the office of PTA president is an opportunity for serious mud slinging and Halloween is a chance to wear couture. Melody is new to the scene and soon gets sucked in. Has she made friends with the right people…or has she made the wrong enemy? And when the wealthiest of them all – the Walkers – may no longer be the sure bet funding all of Sunset Academy, will they all go down with them?

I love a tale of over-the-top wealth and rich people behaving obnoxiously. This one is for fans of City of Likes and Big Little Lies. It’s a reminder that Mean Girls doesn’t end when school does, we just find new forums for the crazy behavior. And even the “innocent” ones in the queen bee/wannabe dynamic make some poor decisions.
